Liz Eban made an interesting post on the official Raspberry Pi site today; Minecraft is now available for the Raspberry Pi, and it’s absolutely free.
Development of Minecraft: Pi Edition began late last year, with Pi owners being invited to take part in beta tests.

Now a final version has been released and can be downloaded from the Pi.Minecraft site
Minecraft was originally released as a browser based game, and has since grown to include iOS and Android versions, as well as a port to Xbox360.
