Great tip for finding original images.
Props for this one go to my friend James, who showed me how to do this.
Ever found an image on a website but it’s a low resolution version or has a watermark?
It’s actually pretty easy to find different versions of the same image via Google Image Search:
1) Right click the image in question and copy the URL to you clipboard.
2) Go to Google Image Search and click on the camera icon:
3) Paste the URL into the search field and hit the search button.
You should then be presented with a page of results based upon the original image you’ve provided.
Rather than the results being based on the image name, they’re based upon a bunch of factors such as image size, file size, colour and composition. Usually you’ll find other versions of the original source image within the first few pages.
