Quick post to say I’m very pleased to announce that Tech Made Easy now has dedicated Amazon Store pages on both the US and UK portals.

I’ve talked a bit about installing Nextcloud on various devices in recent posts, but thus far I’ve not explained how you can access your server from outside your home network.
Thankfully, it’s relatively easy to do.
Services like Dropbox are great, but I always recoil slightly at the use of the term “The Cloud” when really all that means is “someone else’s computer”.
Many people felt a bit cheated when they first used their shiny new 3900X CPUs. AMD had marketed them as having up to a 4.6GHz boost clock, but failed to mention that this only applied to single core boosts.

If you’re a regular reader you may have noticed that a whole bunch of “old” content has appeared on the site recently.
I’ve had a lot on my mind lately.
For most of the last six years my family and I have lived overseas because of my work. In that time an awful lot has changed. I went from newly engaged, to married, to a father. I went from a technican to a manager and a mentor. I went from having next to no qualifications to beginning and excelling at a distance-learning degree. I’m a home owner, a budding vlogger and I brought this website back having lost it.
What a stroke of luck. After pretty much giving up hope of ever reclaiming this web address I managed to contact the current owner and made him an offer to buy it back.
For those not in the know, TechMadeEasy.co.uk is a website that I set up in late 2009 while living in Budapest. It seems strange as I type this to consider that 2009 was over a decade ago now, but I digress.
