APPLE WILL RECYCLE ANY OLD APPLE PRODUCT

Might even give you store credit too…

Starting today, Apple retail stores will recycle any Apple product that you bring in, working or not, for free.

If your kit is in working order, then you may even get store credit out of the deal, though I’d argue that the rates you’ll receive are less than if you tried to sell it yourself.

The move is a part of Apple’s “going green” initiative, which CEO Time Cook described as “leaving the world in a better state than we found it”.

With more and more scientific reports indicating long term damage to the planet caused by the use of fossil fuels to create energy, it could be a drop in the ocean.  But, Apple deserves points for trying in any case.
