If you’re not deaf already, you’ll get there

If you suffer from hearing loss, then ordinary tasks like watching TV or listening to the radio can be extremely difficult.  Amplicomms are looking to solve this issue with the HS1200 headphones.

These wireless cans transmit crystal clear audio over the 2.4GHz band, and can produce audio up to 120dB, which is about the same amount of noise as a jet engine.

It doesn’t take a genius to work out that if someone with perfect hearing were to use these at full volume, they’d find themselves actually needing them pretty quickly.

As such these are designed specifically for those with hearing loss, and to help with that they feature individual volume controls for each ear, along with filters which will amplify bass or treble sounds so that those with selective hearing loss can hear things in a more balanced way.

The HS1200 comes with two sets of rechargable batteries, each good for up to 8 hours of use.  What’s more, the spare battery can be charged on the docking station while the headphones are in use, so you shouldn’t ever be without power.

The HS1200′s are available from HearingDirect, with an RRP of £119.99
