You’re not alone. Loads of people are reporting that either their computers aren’t appearing in XBMC under the Windows Network section, or that they receive an “error 2″ message when they try to access the windows network.
Turns out that password protection on your share could be to blame, the easiest thing to do is manually add the shares as detailed here:
