Conclusions.
No one can tell you exactly how to build or use your Carputer. The information over the last seven pages is only intended to inform you of the different ways that you can approach the task, and the different uses that your Carputer can have.
At the end of it all, it really depends on the following:
- Why you want a Carputer, what sort of roles will it fill
- How much money do you have to spend on it
- How much integration do you want to have with you cars interior.
When planning your Carputer, keep these three things in mind. It can be very easy to lose track of your budget, or your reasoning for doing it in the first place. And at that point, you’ll either end up with a product that is either too expensive or not fit for the purpose you intended it for.
Take. Your. Time.
Plan out exactly what you want to achieve and how you’re going to do it, then start looking at the equipment you’ll need to make it happen. If you do this, you’re much more likely to end up with a result that looks great and does exactly what you want it to.
The good thing about Carputers (PC’s in general, actually) is that you can always upgrade them at a later date to take advantage of newer hardware and new software features.
